Body Collection Travel Brush Set Review

 I wanted to test out this brand 'cause I saw the prices and they kinda shocked me! I bought this from Love Thy Makeup for £1.49, it includes five brushes. A Blush brush, a small eye brush, a slightly bigger blending brush, a sponge applicator and a eyebrow brush/ eyelash comb.

This is the first Brush out of the five, it's advertised as a blush brush but it's a little too small to be used for blush as you can see by the second photo below, showing it compared to a regular blush brush. I have found however that it is perfect for highlighting the face.

The second brush is this small eyeshadow brush, ideal for use in adding some dark colour to the lashline to smoke out an everyday look.

Next is this slightly larger, more fluffy eye brush, great for blending the crease.

4th is an all round sponge applicator, to be used on the go for a variety of touch ups.

Lastly a duo eyebrow brush/eyelash comb, great for taming brows on the go.

All in all I think this set is definitely worth the price, the brushes are surprisingly good for the money I paid and I would recommend it as a cost effective, cheap travel brush set for those of us on a budget. I would only use is when I am out and about though because it's nothing special and the small handle size can sometimes make these brushes a bit difficult to handle.

What's In My Make Up Bag?

 This is an overview of my make up bag, a friend got it for me from Primark ages ago!

These are the brushes and tools I use everyday. There's a blush brush from Superdrug that I also use for powder. A slanted liner brush that I use for my eyebrows from Urban Beauty United. A fluffy blending brush, also from Urban Beauty United. A flat eyeshadow brush from The Body Shop. A eyebrow brush, And a eyelash curler from QVS.

This palette is by MUA it's called Dusk 'til Dawn and it's £4 from Superdrug. I use it most days for a natural look that can be smoked up for night time.

This is the colour I use to fill in my brows, it's from the Adorn palette I previously reviewed on this blog!

This is my mascara, it's ScandalEyes by Rimmel. The waterproof formula. My mum got it for me from Boots, so i'm not sure of the price.

I use this loose powder from Natural Collection (Boots). It's in the shade Translucent Cool and it's £1.99.

I use a black liner for my lashline and a white for my waterline, to brighten my eyes. They are both £1 from MUA (Superdrug).

I use this Natural Collection(Boots) clear mascara as a brow gel, it's £1.99.

 These are the two lipsticks and the lipgloss that I had with me today. The lipstick on the right is Shade 2 by MUA (Superdrug) and it's £1. And the one on the left is Colour Drench Lipstick Shade 3 by 2True(Superdrug) and it's £1.99. The lipgloss is Vinyl Gloss by Rimmel Shade 110 (I think) and it's £4.99.

Hey today, this is the makeup I have chosen to wear today. I followed a tutorial on Youtube by pixi2woo, the tutorial was for Aria from Pretty Little Liars!

Technic ADORN Palette

Today I am reviewing Technic ADORN Palette

 It is a travel friendly palette

 It comes with this travel case (above) and then these five mini palettes!

 These are the swatches of the first lot of eyeshadows, all browny colours

 Next this lot, a real mix of colours

 Next are some pinks and purples

 another mixed bunch including a nice dark grey

 Blues and greens

 All the blushes

 Half the lipglosses

 The other half

I am pleased with this palette, I think it has a nice range of colours mostly quite pigmented, some are a bit rubbish but most are ok.
